Independent Control
Each fan coil unit uses a dedicated electronic expansion valve for superior room temperature control,
meaning individual control in all necessary zones.
VFD/Capacity Control
At the heart of the condensing unit is a high efficiency variable speed “inverter” compressor coupled with inverter fan
motors for superior system part load performance.
Compressor capacity is modulated automatically to maintain a constant suction pressure, while varying the refrigerant
volume to precisely deliver the needs of the cooling or heating loads.
Indoor units use an Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV) to control the cooling or heating performance, with PID logic taking
priority when the room termperature to set-point differential is +/-3 °F, to deliver a comfortable room temperature condition.
Optimized R-410A Design
The industry benchmark is the world’s first R-410A operated variable refrigerant volume (VRV) system and represents a
considerable advance in efficiency over competitive systems.
Flexible Design
Continuous operation 0ºF DB (-5ºF WB) - 64ºF DB (60ºF WB) in heating mode and 23ºF DB - 115ºF DB in cooling mode.
Long refrigerant lines, up to 1,000 feet of pipe (492 feet max. linear liquid piping length), 165 height difference.
Ability to interface with an external heating system.
Indoor Units
A choice of ducted fan coils, 4-way cassette, ceiling suspended, wall mounted or floor console.

CONDITIONING TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
The VRV-S provides a long piping length of 492 ft (575
ft equivalent piping length), with a total piping length
of1,000 ft. If the outdoor unit is installed above the
indoor units, the height can be up to a maximum of 165 ft.
These generous allowances facilitate an extensive variety of
designs.
The entire pipe network is also facilitated by the use of the
REFNET tubing connectors, which reduces the installation
time.
Due to its versatile design, the VRV-S System is perfect for
installation floor by floor. It increases revenue by simply
making the space available, quicker.
